The house is sort of under the weather today, so I'm home, but I'm going to use the time productively to try and get out from under this sense of being crushed by things undone. ( VICTORY ) By the way, if anyone has any good time-structuring tips, I'd love to hear them. Lately my procrastination has been really epic, to the point where I will sit on my computer going "you're procrastinating. What are you doing, don't-- don't refresh the page! You know it isn't any different! In twenty minutes you'll be kicking yourself, and in three hours you're really hate yourself, so just-- what are you doing?!" And yet. I keep doing it. View 942 Answers i would definitely say in certain cases, it can be instant, mainly with sexual attraction rather than being in love with a person instantly. it has to evolve in order to become more, though, or you get stuck in a trap because you don't trust the person you're around. i've given a dumb boy three chances before, and i regret every step of the way. i'm never turning back unless i have a better reason than boredom or loneliness, and only if the fuck really deserves it. not fallen in love, but wanted, maybe. after last weekend i'm going to hell in a hand basket. and my friend thomas just got let down by the guy he liked, even though i warned him that colin didn't like him that way (aka is interested in the idiot that drove drunk and killed my uncle, austin (who was my age, weird family) and one of my best friends, higgins). why are people the way that they are? post comment

... Ah. [08 Nov 2009|11:50pm] pikakao My eyes kind of sting. I'm pretty sure it's just exhaustion. (I'm sure Lou is pretty tired out too from yesterday and today. I wonder how Vinh and Crissy are doing.) It's very quiet right now. I'm always the most lonely right after he leaves. I remember him sending me a text once that said the drive back for him was particularly slow too. It made me feel better to know that it's not just me. Better to not be alone in this loneliness, because it'll make me feel embarrassed for being a sap. It's different from misery loves company. It's just soothing to know that it's mutual. That's why when he told me that it's hard for him to leave me, that he never wants to leave me (to which I always reply that maybe he won't have to leave me someday-- and he once didn't reply, but today he said, "Maybe..." a few times), and that he loves me more than I know... it makes me light up, even if it's a bit sad because it makes me feel like I overlook his affection and care because he's such a different person from me. I wonder how he's feeling right now, and if he's almost home yet by now. A few months ago during the summer when I just got back, I told Lou that I hoped I could stay over more or he could be here more often. When he asked why, I explained that I missed waking up to him every morning. He was quiet, then said, "Well, if things go according to plan... then you can wake up to me everyday." If they keep going well... I was falling asleep when he said that, and my initial thought was, "Oh? Maybe he has a week off soon from summer school and we can stay together..." I didn't realize the long term implication that he meant until later. I always get really happy when I hear him make small plans that include me in his future. He said today, "You are part of my life," because I told him about how I don't always feel that way and then it makes me wonder if I'm being clingy or pathetic by doing things like hugging his waist when he's asleep because he had rolled over and wasn't holding me anymore. I told him that I don't like disregarding myself, and he doesn't like me internalizing things either. So I talk, and if something happens then I try to learn how to manage things between two people like this. My mother told him to call when he gets home so that we'll know if he gets home safely. It actually would be a great comfort to hear him call to see if he's okay and didn't get in trouble for coming home late-- and I'd like to wish him good night. It's the nine month anniversary, and I still love him. I am not surprised by this, but there are other things that surprise me. post comment
