I had quite the adventure today...
First, I almost didn't make it to work. The shift started at 12:45 and I had to catch a bus at 12:10, so my asswipe brother was supposed to wake me before that, but nooo. I woke up to my mom's voice, "Athabasca, get the fuck outta bed; it's 12:30." Epic fail. She ended up driving me down, and was most unhappy about it. XD;;;

The 12:45 matinee shifts fail. There's only one showing, but you have to be at work for a minimum of two hours, so we do work til 1:30 or so and then sit on our asses until we can go. It's painful. XD I usually end up watching the movies if the shift manager doesn't mind, and well... DO NOT EVER WATCH MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY or SUPERBAD. I swear your IQ will go down. Mr Bean is dumb and boring, Superbad is fucking retarded. It could have been retarded-funny, but it isn't. =/ Bah. They both have their moments, though.

After work I had the pleasure of running several blocks to catch the bus back up to my place, and then, once home, discovering that I was locked out. XD;; In the two minutes I had between waking and leaving the house, I'd apparently forgotten to grab my key, so I was SOL. I fraternized with my cats until my brother came back from wherever he ran off to and let me in.

He's gone again, and I have the house to myself now. Ahh, joooy. x]

*coughcough* It was totally an adventure.

Yesterday, I went to my dad's 'cause he had a movie that he wanted to watch with me. It was called Katamaki, and was about a boy who tried to kill himself after his dad died but failed, so he goes to his uncle's place in Japan. His uncle's a potter, and katamaki means kiln-loading or kiln-firing, I'm not sure which. Either way, he has massive culture shock and goes on a journey of self-discovery, has a dorky naked moment in a stream, makes out with an old lady, and overall changes for the better. Or something. He looks like Disney's Hercules in the end, 'cause he has curly hair and wears some headband, so it goes upwards. The movie was well-done, also had its moments, but was a bit long and overall un-entertaining.

I don't seem to have good experiences with movies. XD;; Ah well. I watched Luxe last night, too. Nagi isn't quite as bad when he doesn't have that painful, painful reddish hairstyle. Sho is still the best, though. And Hikaru in the middle. <3

Sharda said it must take a lot of bravery and skill to be such a pervert. When I asked her why, she said 'because that stuff is scary! Scary, I tell you!' I think it's just amusing, personally. >.> XD

It's Shane's birthday soon, and I don't have anything. =/ Ah well. I'll figure something out.

If you guys want me to cut this, just say so. I'll try not to spam as much in my next entry. XD

And... On a closing note, I'm rather fond of my new digicam. And the crap found in my household:

Eep! I've locked myself out so many times, it's not funny. Glad you got in though!

And thanks for the warning, I was wondering if I should see Superbad since friends want to see it but retarded movies and I don't get along. And I get the same talk about being a perv. From one of my ex-roomies who keeps talking about how she goes up to San Fransisco to have sex. @_@

I need to like tape my housekeys into my cleavage or something, so I don't even have to try remember to grab them when I leave the house. XD

Wow, I guess doing it yourself is less scary than watching Asian men do it? XD

Since you're around right now, and so am I, AND my mom, can we do the 53 Euros now?

Next time pray to Saint Zeta... She is the patron saint of lost and misplaced keys. No joke. Who knew they had such a thing? :P

I saw Superbad. It was mostly crude sex jokes and retarded acting but I will admit that I loved those cops. It was meh. I had no choice being dragged there by my retarded guy friends for a "Last Hoorah before you leave us to go be smart." XD

MUFFIN!

You mentioned you live in a small town, so I'm assuming you have to go elsewhere?

I know the feeling. I'm goin' down to boarding school and my people are like ':<' and I'm like 'x]'.

Gonna miss the boys, though?

Ya small town = I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE! And I'm moving farther away than most of the people my age. And ya I'll miss my guys. We've been attached at the hip since we were 6 years old. For years people in town mistook me for a boy because I was covered in mud head to toe always following around the boys ;P (I kinda looked like my brother too at that age). But leaving is so great. I got 5 days to go.

That's awesome. I hope you'll have fun. x3

I was and still am a total tomboy. XD Hang out with boys, act like a boy, dress like a boy... Only reason I can't pass is because of my goddamn tits. *hates* Ah well. XD It's good times.

Hahaha same here, only I had a few girl friends highjack me when they hit puberty and force girly fashion sense on me. I may look like a girl but at heart I'm one of the guys. And my tits don't get in the way so I can still pass as a guy if I borrow my brother's clothing. XD Very convenient.

Lucky girly. XD Yeah, I have my girl moments too. Loooove ballgowns. <3 And pleated skirts. Bahaha.

My breasts are probably bigger than someone's head, so they're hard to hide. XD;;

Balllgowns! oooo guilty! When we go to the city my girl friends and I never fail to hit up "Ollette's Boutique" where they have the best gowns. We each try at least one on (caus we can't actually buy them. And you are plagued by what all my friends have as well. XD Pity the woman race.

Ollette. :o *thinks of KHII* XD;; *nerd* I live in the "city" around here, but it's 20k people and nothing at all by the way of clothing, so I haven't been able to try ballgowns since I was in Germany last year. XD I was there for three months on exchange, and these two girls from my class and I would go every other week or so to the big department stores to see if there was anything new, and if there was, we'd spend hours trying them on. It was kickass.

(The next biggest city is something like a day's drive from here. At least. XD;; 1500 kilometers.)

Oh yes I thought the same thing when I saw the sign at first. And this year when my friends went to Athon, Felix and Jake who were cosplaying Roxas and Hayner went to the shop and took a picture infront. I have it tacked to my wall.

Exchange in Germany? O.o I is jealous. I'd almost gone on exchange to Japan back in 10th grade, but that fell through and I almost went to France in 11th but the program was killed that year. *sigh*

But 20k people? Woah! I live in a town of 500. XP Biiiiiggggg difference. (and the nearest city is 7 hours away)

I live way up in Northern Canada, so something like 70% of the population of the Yukon lives in the capital, which is where I am, and the next biggest is 1000 people, 8 hours away. There are small communities all over the place, like your size. XD I lived in one for years before we moved here so I could go to school. In the last comment, I meant next bigger city, not next biggest. XD

Your friends are win. Just for that, they are total win.

Yeah, I have a thing with the school and culture here, so I get to Europe as often as possible. I'm from Switzerland, so I know the language, and my parents are more than happy to support me if I wanna get the fuck out. XD I was gonna go to Japan too, but ended up going to Germany. Germany was super, though.

Whereabouts do you live? States? ...I just checked your profile, nevermind, I'm retarded. So you're Canadian too. Pimp. ;D

And I thought I was Northern XD. I live in Northern Alberta in a french community so we are far away but hell you beat the pants off of me distance wise.

Aren't they just? Their cosplay antics have never failed to throw me to the floor laugh till I couldn't breath... Ah the good old days.

And Switzerland? Damn. Yup it is official I am jealous. I'd give my left toes just to go to Europe. My parents are supportive justnot that willing to let me go. I guess I shouldn't complain since they are paying for my first year of uni. But visiting Europe (more specifically, Germany, France, Belgium and Spain) is on my MUST DO list for when I get money.

Yeah, we live in igloos and ride polar bears to school. XP (Lies, all lies, but some people do believe it. Tis scary.)

D'you speak French? :o

Gogogogo for Europe! It's generally an aaawesome experience. I think the only place I had a flat out bad time in was Rome, but that was because it was 38 degrees in the shade and I was with my father who wanted to look at buildings for three days. @.@ After a few hours, buildings all look the same to me. I was dying. And from my experience, there are no youth and nothing youth-oriented in Rome. We may just have not known where to look, but goddamn, I don't think I saw anyone under 30. (that wasn't a blatant tourist at the Vatican or so)

Haha Ya I had tricked some of my American friends into believing that we didn't have things like insulation, staplers,... cars and that I lived in an igloo year round. Oh! And that we hunted seals and polar bears for breakfast XD Funny how they will believe you.

And yes I speak french. It is my first language. I know a lot of people are surprised to find french people out of Quebec but we have a big population of us here in Northern Alberta. I went to an all french school (not emmersion) believe it or not.

I've got a friend right now touring Europe. He said the same thing about Rome. He hated it. He didn't like England much either but I know he loved France and right now he'd in Munich.

Others' ignorance is our bliss? XD

Awesome. =D I never had much luck with French. It could also be the curriculum here, because in Germany they were yeaaars ahead of us. XD As a trade-off for my French ineptitude, though, I speak German. Yuss. XD

I haven't been in England but to transfer in London Heathrow airport. I'd like to go to the War Museum, but other than that, England isn't high on my list either. Hope he has fun in Munich. =D
